DaFen Paintings is a Dafen Village oil painting artists collective, bringing together the skills of painters working across portraits, landscapes, master-inspired works and abstract art.
Our purpose is simple: help you commission a painting directly around the subject, scale and finish that matter to you. The artist’s hand remains visible in the finished work, from the first drawing to the final touches.
The collective is our way of organizing this collaboration. We match the brief to a suitable painting practice and keep the specification, communication and approval connected throughout the order.

Different subjects ask for different strengths. We consider portrait likeness, atmosphere, brushwork and decorative style when reviewing a brief.

You see photographs of the actual finished painting before it is prepared for delivery.

A human interpretation.
Our hand-painted paintings are made in oil on canvas. The texture depends on the style: a softly blended portrait can be quite smooth, while an expressive landscape can show raised strokes. Thick texture alone is not a measure of quality. Describe the finish you want before the artist begins.
